Tour Tbilisi / Mtskheta / Jvari
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for an excursion.
And, we begin the day with our walking tour of Tbilisi, in which we will visit the Old Part of the city. We will walk through the square of Europe and Meydan Square. Then we’ll climb the cable car (you can climb or
go down) to the mountain where the Narikala fortress, the old towers and the main fortress of the city are located. From the height of the fortress opens a very beautiful view of the city. After, we will walk along one of the oldest streets of Tbilisi - Leselidze, where we will feel the true color of the old city. Also, we will pass along Shavteli Street in the Old Town, where is located the small Puppet Theater and visit the ancient temple of Tbilisi, Anchiskhati, the 6th century basilica and the 12th-century Sioni Cathedral, which houses the Cross of St. Nino.
After getting to know Tbilisi, we will drive to the ancient capital of Georgia, Mtskheta.
In Mtskheta we will visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (XI c), which refers
to the UNESCO cultural heritage monument and which houses one of the main relics of the Orthodox world - robe of the Lord Jesus Christ. After that we will walk along the paved quiet and cozy streets of the ancient capital. Further, we will rise to the monastery of Jvari, from the height of which we will have an unforgettable panorama, and where you can enjoy the famous views, the confluence of the two rivers - Aragva and Mtkvari.

Return to Tbilisi.

Ananuri / Kazbegi + lunch in a Georgian house and tasting of real Georgian wine and chacha.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the mountainous part of Georgia to Mount Kazbeg.
The road itself to this place will be very picturesque and exciting. On the way, we will stop at the famous Ananuri Castle, visit the Zhinvali Reservoir and the Peoples' Friendship Arch. Next, we will drive to the village of Stepantsminda, where the main attraction is the Holy Trinity Church, built on top of the mountain, from where is unforgettable views of Mount Kazbegi. This church, and now the current monastery is covered in many legends and myths. One legend says that the church was erected on the site of an ancient pagan temple. More over, that supposedly, and now, priests hide a stone idol in the form of a ram. It is believed that this church was built as a repository of treasures of the Georgian Orthodox Church during the invasion of invaders of other faiths who defiled Christian shrines. To visit this picturesque place, we will transfer to jeeps and climb to the top of the mountain where the temple is built. You can leisurely spend time on the spot to enjoy the beautiful views. If the weather allows, you can see the top of Mount Kazbegi.

After inspiring mountain scenery, we will drive to the guest house, where we will be waited by a traditional Georgian table with a tasting of five types of wine and chacha.

Return to Tbilisi.

Kakheti (Sighnaghi / Bodbe) + lunch at the Vakirelebi family house.
After breakfast at the hotel we will go to Kakheti - the wine region of Georgia.
In the begining, we will visit the Bodbe Monastery, According to Georgian tradition, St. Nino, having witnessed the conversion of Georgians to the Christian. A legend is associated with this holy place, which the guide will tell you about. Also, on the territory of the monastery there is a miraculous source, in which, if desired, every tourist can dive.
Then the excursion will continue in Sighnaghi - the city of Love, where according to local legend, the artist in love Niko Pirosmani covered the square in front of the hotel with flowers, where his beloved woman, French actress Margarita de Sevres, lived. This is what is sung in the popular song of Alla Pugacheva “Million Scarlet Roses” (1982). Here we will see the Sighnaghi fortress and enjoy unforgettable views of the Alazani Valley.
At the end of the tour, we will drive to the Vakerelebi family house, where a real Georgian “supra” will be waiting for you, with delicious national dishes.

Return to Tbilisi.
