Our tour begins with the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity “Sameba”, which was built in 1996 – 2004. and became the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church. Next, we will visit Agmashenebeli street. This pedestrian street impresses with its architecture, patterns decorating low buildings and the number of cozy cafes. After the Agmashenebeli, we will visit Rustaveli Avenue – the central avenue of Tbilisi. Named Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli. During the tour we will visit the State Museum of History, which is one of the main historical museums in Georgia. After the museum we will climb Mount Mtatsminda (Mount David). A funicular runs to the top of the mountain. The trip takes 5 minutes. The height of Mount Mtatsminda is almost 800 meters. A magnificent panorama of Tbilisi opens from the observation deck. In addition to the observation deck, there is a TV tower, an amusement park, a Ferris wheel and a restaurant. After, we will go downstairs and begin our acquaintance with the Old part of the city. So we will walk around the square of Europe and Meydan Square. Then we climb the cable car to the mountain where are located the Narikala fortress, the old towers and the main fortress of the city. After, we will go through one of the old streets of Tbilisi – Leselidze and feel the whole flavor of the old city. We will also walk along Shavteli Street in the Old Town, where is located the small Puppet Theater and visit the ancient temple of Tbilisi, Anchiskhati, the 6th century basilica and the 12th-century Sioni Cathedral, which contains the Holy Nino Cross.
